Gimmicky Price Games

Here is a price card from a local retailer. This is a BIG TIME gimmick used by many mattress retailers and it is deceiving. The first price you see at $3199.99 is a price which the mattress set is never sold. So, I ask the question. How is there ever a true 50% savings if the mattress set is never sold at the highest price? There is no savings. It's a gimmick to get buyers fooled. Do you like to get fooled? This mattress set is over priced at the second $1599.99 price and the third $1409.99 price and the $1268.99 price. When you see price tags as shown here, just remember it is creative writing 101 (a course I never signed up for). It's Gimmicky.
