Yes. Really. When shopping for a new mattress just ask a simple question, "Do you have any double sided mattresses." The answer most of the time will be, "No, they don't make them anymore." Another comment, "Actually, mattresses are built so well today they do not require flipping so only one side is needed." Here is another one. "All mattresses are built from the bottom up and it is impossible to build them with two sides." And another, "It is against the law to have handles on mattresses today so you can not flip them even if you had two sides so that is why we don't sell any two sided mattresses."
Well folks, it is true the BIG name brands do not offer double sided mattresses. The kind you can flip and get a longer useful life. The BIG brand names want mattresses to wear out quicker. Have you seen the ads suggesting the replacement of your mattress every seven years or so? What is up with that?
At Flanagan Mattress, we have several double sided mattresses which can be flipped. You will get longer wear and tear. Sleep on one side for ten years and then flip it over and sleep on the other side for ten years.
You can't do that with a "one sider".
